Feira de Santana Commercial Metropolis

The population density is 459.5 inhabitants per km² in the territory of the municipality. Neighboring the municipalities of São Gonçalo dos Campos, Coração de Maria and Conceição do Jacuípe, Feira de Santana is located 91 km north-west of Salvador.
Feira de Santana is the second most populous city in Bahia, with a large tourist flow. The city is world famous for its events, such as the off-season carnival, called “Micareta de Feira” and the special Christmas celebrations. The micareta lasts four days, rocked by trendy blocks and electric trios from Salvador.
